We all know the major ways to optimize our Facebook pages, but what about those lesser known ways? There are several other ways to make Facebook work for you. Here are a few easy ways to help optimize your Page experience.
One way is to utilize the rolling feedback option. Facebook allows you to see real time feedback on your posts; they are updated continuously. The feedback that can be seen is how many likes the post has received, how many comments the post has received, and the percentage of feedback each post receives. This can be seen when you are logged in as an Administrator on your page. It has been proven that when you give your users the opportunity to share their own page links on your Page, you receive more feedback from each post.
Another way is to use the featured photo option. By now we’ve all seen the new photo ribbon at the top of our Pages. This is the perfect opportunity to utilize this space for advertising or offering specials. One must be aware that as soon as you upload a new picture to your wall, the ribbon will change. You must be cognizant of what is being populated there.
As with newspapers, there is an “above the fold” option on the left-side link panel. This is generally where you see all the applications that you have installed. Only the first 8 links are available for viewing by visitors, make sure your most intriguing links are among the first 8 viewable. You cannot rely on your visitors to click on the see more link.
Finally, utilize the featured likes option. What is this? This is a way for you to choose the 5 featured brands that are most closely associated with your page. This is a rotatable option that changes each time you refresh your page, however it can be set to not rotate.
